Music on my Iphone

My music collection consists of Bob Marley, Jimmy Buffett, Beatles, Paul McCartney, Chicago (yes, I said Chicago), Pink Floyd, Heart, Harry Belafonte, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Stones, Trace Akins, The Who, Bon Jovi (for Pam), The Doobie's, Eric Clapton, Mellencamp, Journey, REO Speedwagon, Steve Miller and even a little Johnny Cash. As you can see, I'm very diverse!

Movies I like

Anything with Johnny Depp. It's A Wonderful Life and old black and white classics. I still love the Wizard of Oz.

Weekly shows I cant miss

CSI is a must. Can't miss Survivor or Idol and Big Brother is a regular show in my house. I also like Medium and I' hooked on SNL and Boston Legal.

    The saying goes 1 part sour, 2 parts sweet, 3 parts strong, 4 parts weak.

    Lime juice (the sour)
    Simple syrup & grenadine (the sweet - use more simple syrup than grenadine)
    Dark & light rum (the strong - I usually use 2 parts light and 1 part dark)
    Pineapple & Orange juice (the weak - equal parts)

    Your "parts" can be any measurement you want. If you're only making one drink (not sure why you would!) use a shot glass for measuring. If you want to make a big batch (great for parties), use a 1 cup measuring cup.

    2 ounces Milk
    1/2 Banana
    Simple syrup
    (Blended with ice)

    For each glass:

    Squeeze 1/2 lime over a few pieces of crushed ice
    Add 2 Tablespoons of sugar and 10 mint leaves
    Muddle or crush until mint is mashed and mixed with sugar
    Add 2 ounces of Barcardi Light Rum
    Top off with Club soda....
    ENJOY!

Tidbits about me

We are true Sooner Fans (at least he is). we've been married 16 years, have 5 children and love to travel. Someday we hope to be able to take the whole family to Jamaica, but until then I guess we'll just have to keep exploring for ourselves. We've been to CSS once and will be visiting CN this October. Hope to see ya there.
I have two jobs and keep very busy. Hubby is retired from GM and now works in transportation. When we finally get time for a vacation we like to make the most of it. That's why Couples is our resort of choice. But when money is tight and time is short, we go to Mexico. No comparison to Jamaica, but great for a quick get-a-way.
We have two dogs, Eddie and Lucy, both Jack Russell's. They're awesome and pretty much run the house. We have 1 granddaughter named Skyler. We recently sent our daughter to Jamaica cor her honeymoon and she came back hooked......once you go you know!

    No, No wasn't planning on walking, looked at the map seems to far. Was planning on taking a cab and now I have an idea on how much it should cost. Thanks for the info! Will be awhile before pictures though, going in March but will definately take and post some. Such a long wait.....

    Yep! We had a blast at SSB once the weather straightened out (pre-Dolly rains)! Great group of people there (several from this board image) ! We had up to 17 couples there a couple of days. Every lounger around the pool was taken, plus there were several couples on the beach.

    Yay! I knew you'd like it. SSB is the perfect AN beach.......we'll try the AN beach at CN but I don't think it will compare to CSS. I like the privacy and seperation from the rest of the resort. CN doesn't have that. Glad you had a blast. Cant wait to see pics.....
